So.... I need to do something with my headers. They  look horrible.

Does ceramic get stained easy?

I know paint will have to be touched up.. Just wonderin if the ceramic will hold up in the long run.

my buddy has a ceramic coating on his Dasa exhaust, it's done ok so far.  I'm gonna spray mine with hi-temp ceramic paint in a few weeks, I think Troywcc did it also.

12 bucks for paint versus 100+ for coating, i'll save my pennies and spray it myself

Google, Jet Hot Ceramic coatings claim to be for ATV,s

Krandall

Yeah I've seen the Jet Hot Coat before.

Just wondering.. Does the Ceramic stain like w/ mud? does it get baked on?

I have had 1 set from LTE ceramic coated in silver, it flaked off and they re-coated it.  it was a good finish overall.
I have had 2 sets of barkers ceramic coated black and the set that is over a year old still looks pretty good but could use re-coated.  The new set of barkers is also black and they just came out with a better harder finish and they look sweet.  The company that I had do the last 2 sets ONLY do ceramic coating and are very good.

My exhaust is in getting powder coated as we speak. Its high temp silver good to 1500 degrees. He said he has had guys bring there pipes and parts to him because the ceramic coating dont hold up and last. he guarentees no flaking or chipping or he will re spray them. I will post pictures when i get them back
