a LOOONG time ago from my ISP I did. They sent me a letter saying I needed to stop.. They can't monitor what "kind" of stuff I was downloading just that there was heavy traffic nearly every night coming from ports that certain torrent applications run on. I switched ISP's and haven't had issues.

Cool beans. Is it true that with the advent of torents is "legal" to download becuase you get many different files that compiles to one large file? The law states that you cant download entire files.
Just a little 81hp trail bike.

From a standpoint of a host (ie: Piratebay, IsoHunt, Demonoid, ect...) It's completely legal because like you said. It's hundreds if not thousands of tiny files that compile into one. But, it is 100% illegal to have them on your system in the complete form due to copy rights.  But there is such a thing is completely legal torrents too. I know Linux distributes new versions via torrents. :)
