What would you do? (cracked frame w/pics)

I would go to a fab shop and have them scab in a patch via welding. That damage does not look very good at all. Bolting something on will just cause you more grief down the line. This fix needs to be as good as or better than original and the only way you will get that is a good fab shop, or new/used parts but not a farmer/cobbler.

Out Back Welding

ive welded tons of cast aluminum it welds just fine, its just harder so u need a better welder, but as powder coater said earlier i wouldnt just scab it while it was all togeather or just glob some weld on the bottom, i would want to tear it down straighten it weld it grind it and make it back to new. being said, an aluminum repair shop is usually gonna charge $40-80 per hr. i would def suggest you TO GET A NEW ONE. unless u know how to fix it yourself, or got real good connections. just my .02
