we snorkled at palacanar reef. I may get a pic or 2 scanned of it and post it up. Pretty nice though. My wife and myself got stung by about 30 jelly fish. She got hit more than me though. I got tired of it after a little while and just got the boat to come pick us up. They were pretty small though.. Like the size of your finger or thumb but after so many.. it gets real aggrivating.

Jellies aren't common there on Palancar. I've never seen a jelly down there. I did see thousands of moon jellies in Antigua back in September. They would congregate 1500-2000 feet off shore where the water was calm, and you could see them as far as a mile out. They are really big, and easy to spot. You could actually touch them on the top and sides. Very cool.

my wife is still welting up from all the stings. they were very small though. Nothing near the picture you posted up. The guide even was getting ate up and he got a few stings on his mouth. He was ready to go too..lol
They said it was from all the rain that we got down there.

The yellow and black striped fish are Sergeant Majors, a species of damsel fish. Very inquisitive fish. You can usually hand feed them. the brown and brightly colored fish that were eating on the corals were parrot fish.
