That's amazing to think it could get that cold to drive a truck onto ice.

How think does the ice have to be say for a regular cab truck?

~Brian

For a regular cab truck they recommend around 14" of ice.  I heard the lake ice is around 20" right now.

20 inches?

Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Up Nort'

It helped because at the beginning we were sub zero with no snow. So the cold goes straight through the ice. Where as now. with a lot of snow. It blankets/insulates the ice quite a bit. so ice formation is a bit slower.

Ted Bundy commits what is sometimes regarded as his first murder, Lynda Ann Healy, a 21 year old senior at the University of Washington. Her skull is not found until a year later. By the time he was executed, Bundy had committed nearly 30 murders, mostly women with dark long hair. It is believed that he may have murdered as early as 1961, when he was 15, but proof is at best circumstantial.

Unfortunate addition to today's history.  My wonderful dog Casey passed away this morning.  I couldn't of asked for a better dog.

I know you're running through the mountains Case, free and happy.

Thank you for the 12 years of being my constant friend, regardless of the trials of my days.

I miss you.

During the MTV-provided halftime show of the Superbowl, former boy band member Justin Timberlake conducts an obviously pre-scripted move to expose Janet Jackson's right tit, which oddly sports a ninjitsu-style throwing star as a pasty. The nation is shocked, simply shocked, that a pristine, noncommercial event such as the Superbowl could be ruined by a Jackson. Timberlake sings: I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song." Obviously scripted.

Sorry to hear about your pooch Aaron.

I hate loosing an animal. I started buying parrots for the fact that they live much longer for this exact reason. The last two dogs and a cat I bought passed and it was really tough on me and my girlfriend at the time. I love dogs and cats, but I just can't stand to have to put one down or loose one to disease. I lost a dog to parvo, one to old age, and a cat to feline lukemia.

Unfortunate addition to today's history.  My wonderful dog Casey passed away this morning.  I couldn't of asked for a better dog.

I know you're running through the mountains Case, free and happy.

Thank you for the 12 years of being my constant friend, regardless of the trials of my days.

I miss you.

Aaron
