Hey Brian, do you order your pool chemicals online?  Lot of things to learn now that I have a pool.

No, I buy my chlorine from a pool dealer two miles from my house.

Is the pool new or is it exsisting with the property?

I use cholorinie rather than Baquacil. At the time my pool was built, they offered me a salt water system, but the cost was $5,000 more. Now it's much less.

I only buy cholorine tabs at the pool store. I don't buy their alkalinity powder (Sodium bicarbonate). I buy 20 lb bags of Arm and Hammer baking soda. It's the same thing and costs 1/3 less. I use it to increase alkalinity and it makes your water sparkle. My pool is 21,000 gallons, and it burns three 2'' tablets a week. It will burn 4-5 a week when temps are over 100F.

Mine is very easy to take care of. I clean it once a week, and backwash the system once a week.

~Brian

The pool will be a new since they have to totally redo the one that is there.  This pool is 26,000 gallons so it should burn about the same.  And thanks for the tips.

Is it a concrete pool or a concrete pool with a vinyl liner?

~Brian

Concrete with the new 32mil liner.

Most liners have a 20 year warranty.....If they are replacing the exsisting liner, be sure to ask about it. I take a water sample in to the company that installed mine so they have it on file I'm taking care of it.

Sounds good.  Just make sure to order the Gap covers kit with it

For sho   the pics i seen the frame dont hang down that much on these trucks..  Not like my old jeep with a body lift

Im talking about the covers for between the body and frame on the bed and rear bumper.  If you dont buy them to you will have a big gap between them.  Also and check on the bumper lifts to. That way your bumpers will be raised to meet your body.

Fo sho  LOL  No ghetto Body lift for me..  I will do it right..  How ur truck do with 35's ?  around town power wise?  I got 3.42 rear gears so they will have to be changed but not soon hope i could get by..

It does ok.  I can tell that I lost some low end power. Im running the factory 3,73gears and a 5.3L.  The truck still runs good but you can notice alittle torque loss.  As far as highway speeds I think the tires helped the mileage out some.  It revs lower by 5-600RPM at 60mph.  I too am looking to upgrade my gearing this spring or summer.  Im looking at a set of 4.10gears that I can hopefully get pretty cheap.

Are you having the fiber optic light put in that changes colors?

I would not recommend that. The company that built my pool (Burton Pool and Spa) say the color wheels go out on those quite often. You'll have to drain the pool past the light each time it goes out.

Your gonna lose some torque yeah.. But you will still have enough to play with.  I can still bring my truck sideways when i pull out. And on a good day get 2nd gear rubber.  You should have no problem pull your trailer.  I have pulled a 20ft trailer with a Rhino and 2 Raptors on it comfortably before

Good thing.

Besides the normal lights have lenses you can buy to change the color of the pool. We have a blue (Pool looks purple) and a red lense. Red is good to use because bugs won't hit the top of the water when the light is on.

Thats what I'm thinking.  I'm still looking at all the choices for liners, looks like I can get some pretty cool stuff.  I like the one that looks like black stone.
