What gearing do you run at the dunes? You dune at little sahara UT? (thats where we go on our dune trips).

What gear can you pull up the mountain (face/backside/fingers)?

I want to hopefully gear for revving out 3rd. I think I am going to go with the 22x11x8 8 paddle extremes... hopefully its doable!

If you run a 21/12/8 9 paddle and drop to a thirteen tooth front sprocket, you should be fine trill you mod up.

Im in California so I go to sand mountain nv. (really steep) I run a 13t front and 38 rear. I pull a hard 3rd gear. Try that setup if you have a steep sand hill.  Im a bigger guy and I still beat alot of people up the hill.

Ok I guess that is what I will roll with then. Technically wouldnt it be better to jump on 22x11x8's, as there is more sidewall to help on the landing (and a smaller rim to bend)?

Only thing is..10's look better and will probably dune a tad better (not that im buying extremes to worry about sliding..)
