Fasst Flexx bar height???
« on: January 05, 2009, 09:05:24 PM »
In February I think I'm going to drop some cash on a handle bar setup. I really want the Fasst Flexx bars. The stock handle bar height is shorter than what I would like. If I went with the fasst flex bars and the houser + 1 1/4 stem, would I get a taller than stock handle bar height? Or is there an alternative ( cheaper route ) ??

It would come out Taller.  But I think you are going with just about the most expensive bars out there.  But from what I have read on here everybody that has them loves them bars.  You could look into a set of Pro Taper bars with that riser and get the same height for less money.

No, the Flexx bars with a 3/4" riser is about 1" or more shorter then stock. That would put you about a half inch shorter then stock.

A cheaper route would be using risers. A set can be had for $20. I stayed with  stock stem and ordered a set of 3/4" risers at the same time. I wish I would have ordered 2" risers, but I didn't know any better. I did however ordered a set of 2" Rox Risers from Tech Quad Shop and will be installing them on top of my 3/4"  in a day or so. Holler at Steve over at TechQuad. This setup should put me a hair over stock.

Nope. That'll put him about a half inch shy of stock. Look at the pic in my sig, that's with 3/4" risers, I might as well have drag bars.  :'(

I have a 2 riser on my Zeta bars and the cables are about maxed out, I would imagine that the flex's would be similar

I'll tell you tomorrow. These risers should put me at an inch over stock, I think I'll be maxed out, but we'll see. I'll snap some pics too.
