The innermost piece of the heel guard part of my nerfs is broken on both sides. The left side is the worst. Bending it back is proving to be extremly difficult and impossible to hold it to get a weld on it.  Im thinking my best bet would just be to cut it... The left side rubs the tire = issue....  With the old tires it only rubs when the suspension is all the way up, but when i put the razr's back on it will rub the whole time

Cut that sucker off. If your foot wont stick in the hole then there's nothing to worry about.

Cut it and if you are worried about your foot slipping through, put on a couple zip-ties in there.

do you have a welding shop around? I'd say $10 max.. have them take a piece of aluminum. Bend it around and semi-replace that strap, have em' tig weld it under neath and call it a day.

+1 to that. i was going to say the same thing. that would be easy to fix with a strip of aluminum and a TIG welder.
