nope no walmart. 


we barely have a post office.    there used to be a couple bars, a race track, a boat factory and a grain elevator. but after the state made the highway go around the town instead of through it. the factory shut down along with the track, and some of the bars. and the last bar ended up getting gutted by a fire. and the grain elevator shut down due to lack of business. then it burnt down a few years back.

We have alot of small towns in California that the freeways killed by going around them or putting the offramps to far away.We are losing lots of Americana. Hope you all can stay afloat.

I live in one of those bedroom communities. Bypassed 5 years ago. Police dept has nothing to do now.....but writ speeding tickets for 5 over apparently.   Not really losing americana, just the definition of americana is changing. Very difficult change either way.

you forgot about the pop machine uptown warren geez. Thats about the only thing we got goin in town. we have no police dept. the county patrols it once in awhile but its in the corner of the county way out of the way. which was prolly a good thing since we did alot of stupid things.
