Heard this on the radio this AM. Had the full voice transcript.

A 911 dispatcher had to tell a woman how to unlock her car on Sunday.

A woman called Kissimmee police to say she was locked inside her car at the Walgreen's on John Young Parkway near Poinciana.

"My car will not start. I'm locked inside my car," the unidentified woman said.

"Nothing electrical works. And it's getting very hot in here, and I'm not feeling well."

The dispatcher asked the woman if she was able to manually pull the lock up on the door.

The woman said she would try, and then, she said, "Yes, I got the door open."

My Mom has been a Police Dispatcher for almost 20 years. I love the stories she has. People calling in because of Fireworks displays on the 4th of July. Car won't start, personal favorite is "the power is out, what should I do?"...etc. Morons

The pilot of the aircraft that is in my avitar is in BIG trouble. The day he came in to Sallisaw, there were 19 reports of  called in over Lake Tenkiller area of a vintage WWII aircraft dive bombing the hydro-electric dam, and making low passes over homes in the area. Three A-10's from Fort Smith were on manuevers and were scrambled to the lake area to search for the airplane and neutralize the threat.

He's in deeeeeeep shznit with the FAA. I'm sure a huge fine or his certificates will be pulled.

Ouch.

No wonder why he wasn't very talkative when I was at the airport the other day.

Supposedly the owner of the aircraft is flying into Sallisaw. I don't know what is going on just yet, but when I find out I'll let you guys know. Chances are he'll be needing to hire a pilot to ferry the aircraft back to his home base.

I did see A-10's pass over the day he landed here. They were coming from the north, and turned west back toward Fort Smith. There were two F-18's that passed from east to west the same day. Both flights of aircraft were 2000-2500 feet AGL. Very uncommon this far from Fort Smith.

The highway patrol is at the airport now, without their Cessna Skylane. Two Tahoes.
