I do not take someone's service lightly, you know that.  I am a proud veteran and I love all my brothers in arms.  But when service is embellished for personal gain and exploited it is an egregious violation to the principles I hold dear.  I think if you asked a lot of other vets they would say the same thing. 

I agree, but I don't think this is the case at all.  High level medals (Bronze/ Silver Stars) come with a shit load of investigation, and I'm sure interviews with his fellow captives were taken.  But I'm sure you think his daddy influenced those boards of inquiry.

I think we've both drinking alot of Cool-aid, and the truth lie somewhere in the middle.

BTW in S.E.R.E i was taught that all people "break" eventually, but it's how you break that makes the diffrence.

I see them both as having enough experience.  I find it a joke when one side judges the other.  People need to get off the bandwagon.

There's 2.. You're for one or your for the other.. It's hard not to be a bandwagonier.

People are voting for obama for reasons because he's smart, good talker, and want someone different than the bush administration.

People are voting for McCain because he has a hot wife, was a serviceman, and also a good talker.


your MORE than average american is not going to look into their voting paterns.


why do you think the news has the impact it does. People watch the news. get spoonfed. Whether correct or not. take it and run.

Professionalism is a word we learned a lot about in the military, in fact, it was the mark of success we sought after.
