I paid $1.75 for diesel in Yuma on Sunday.  It's about $2.08 in town.

Wednesday night, I saw gas as low as $1.48

This morning I saw it has jumped to $1.79 in two days.

I just read an article last night on how large inventories of oil are. Cushing, OK is the warehouse for oil bought on the exchange, and it is near full. There are a few tankers at anchor in the Gulf full of oil, and they are being used as floating storage until prices come up. Storage facilites are full around the US, and those facilites are charging as much as $75,000 per day to store the oil.

I don't understand why they don't process this oil, drop prices, and try to help us all out. Lower prices free up funds for people to spend elsewhere in the marketplace.
