The sad thing is no politician goes into politics for the right reasons anymore.  Those times are long gone.

I just stick to the voting records.  No way around those.

That is a good way to do it. It depends on what is most important to you. I am big into veterans affairs so I would have no choice but Obama.  Like I said... depends on priorities in your personal life

You haven't checked the veterans sites I'm guessing. We have the best guy in the world for veterans benefits(Jim Webb VA), and he did everything to get McCain to vote for the new veterans care package, and McCain chose to just not show up

Look at the language of the veterans care package.  There were a lot of crap attached to that one.  I would of voted the same.

Actually Obama will do the same, look at his comments in the first debate.  Doesn't matter who you pick.  Our boys will be in Iraq for at least the next year and I'm sure Iran is on the list if things keep going the way they are.

I think that is gonna be the way with everything from here out. I don't think it is a bad thing to have a party majority for the sake of accountability. That way the party in charge can't blame their bullshit on the other party. The Republicans are suffering from that now. If the Dems do the same thing, send those bitches packing in 2 yrs. Keep changing them out until they are scared to not do what the American people want!

Let's let the guys speak for themselves on what they want    According to every military poll, the enlisted and officers in all the branches are choosing McCain at 75% over Obama.

They are the ones who have to fight this war, and there voices matters to me.
