Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him,
And He shall direct your paths.

People use "Muslim" in such a weird way.. Do you mean as an extremeist or a person.

Author is of muslim background, but he's american, and writes for the New York Times.

QuoteThis is not a book about the decline of America, but rather about the rise of everyone else." Zakaria describes with equal prescience a world in which the United States will no longer dominate the global economy, orchestrate geopolitics, or overwhelm cultures. He sees the "rise of the rest"—the growth of countries like China, India, Brazil, Russia, and many others—as the great story of our time, and one that will reshape the world. The tallest buildings, biggest dams, largest-selling movies, and most advanced cell phones are all being built outside the United States. This economic growth is producing political confidence, national pride, and potentially international problems. How should the United States understand and thrive in this rapidly changing international climate? What does it mean to live in a truly global era? Zakaria answers these questions with his customary lucidity, insight, and imagination.

Look who's reading "The Post-American World" -- it's a Muslim's view of defeating America from within..

We should all be students of other religions.

The teachings of the Al-Qur'an (Koran) and the Holy Bible are very similar, and the same in many aspects. How they are defined by the person reading and or teaching from either book is critical.

Heres a little something that reinforces what we have been saying about Obama's socialist views and goals

http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/27/radio-interview-obama-laments-lack-supreme-court-ruling-redistributing-wealth/

In the early days of his political career Obama was a nut out of the University of Chicago (home to many leftist nuts) but in the presidential campaign he has backed off a bit, lets hope its for real and not just a front to get votes.....something I fear since that is what they all do to get votes.

Very true

Islam even recognizes Jesus as a Prophet.  Funny that the jewish faith does not, since it was the fondation of Christianity  ::)

I did take a class on the koran (grouped in world religion) and they do have their similarities.  But then there are the teachings I don't agree with and the views of women.

Muslims (non-extrememists) consider Christians as "Believers".

What amazes me is that Koran says Muhammend was illiterate.

Salaam Aleicum my brotha...(do you know how to respond?) has my vote for new raptor source postwhore greeting.
I read some stuff on Islam. Semi-interesting.
Knew a white fella who was trying his damndest to not be white by converting..having dreadlocks-the whole deal. I read his little handbook. Seems after he realized he actually had to work at it, he was no longer interested.
