It's not that impressive.

It's a heavy car.

My 1991 BMW 5 series is a heavy car with only a 2.0i engine but I still got that to hit the redline in 5th  :) .... it's all about seing how much abuse an engine can take nothing more as quoting from a film "Speed is just a by product"

The demand for the power wagon is pretty low at our store.

We have ordered one only a a special order, in 2007.

me likey the interior update on the ram   but they should have left the exterior alone  :(

You don't feel like you sit up as high in this truck as the other Ram models.

The bed is also shorter.

~Brian

I have really come around and started to like the mega cab (first thought it was fugley) but I need a bigger bed. My next truck will hopefully be a long bed. And now they are making them shorter!  :(
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Flynbyu

You can get a longer bed, but only 2500 or 3500 series applications.

hey is it true the new ram's have a 4 link rear suspension? a guy i work with said that.

5 link with coil suspension.

It rides VERY good. It rides twice as good as last year's model.

~Brian

great just what we need another 3/4 truck on the market

What the hell does everyone need a 1-ton in 1/2 ton clothing for?  The vast majority of the trucks on the road rarely leave the highway, what's the point of a 1/2 ton truck that tows 10k pounds?  I think Dodge went the right way and you're stuck in the "bigger is better" mentality :moon:

Still looks like a ford though. :grin_nod:

My statement is about a car like ride.  I like my truck to feel like a truck.  If i wanted a car's ride i would buy ridgeline  O0

Agreed.

Most people here are hell bent on buying too much truck, thus the reason they are in bad financial shape!
