The FUELATV intake is out. It has been out for about 2 months as promised. The FUELATV intake has PROVEN on the dyno to make more HP then any other intake available now. As far as running wiothout an air box you will be fine as long as you are not riding in deep water. The FUELATV intake has been out for over 2 years for the LTR450 and has rave reviews. The problem with the air box is once dirt or debris get in the box ist stays there. The box is almost a dirt trap ....... Here is the dyno sheet of the FUELATV intake vs. trinity intake ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

RMEMBER this is 3 HP over the trinity intake .......... i would guess about 5 hp over stock. This is not just an intake. We spent alot of time on the dyno getting the best intake adaptor shape to maximize flow and velocity. Fiter design and shape also comes into play. You will be VERY happy with the FUELATV intake no question.

Here's RocketFactory's on mine. I don't run the K&N filter...The short Spectre(Autozone special $23.00) made more power on my bike.

I have the pro-design kit. and I love it. If I was going to do it all over though, I'd probably hold out for the FCI intake because it replaces the stock tube that hooks up to the Throttle Body squeezing more HP outta these beasts. as well as it comes with its own replacement air box.

FCI's are the shit for the YFZ so im assuming its just as good for the 700 as well

Daygoslow

i was waiting for the fci, but i am one of the oddball people who runs my airlid almost all the time. so i figured id just go this route since the fci is coming out months after it was thought to be ready and who knows how long it will be before someone makes a lid for it.

Krandall

fair enough. Your best bet then would be the monster quad or the Trinity then. Both still use the stock airbox and you can get an aftermarket lid then 8)

When the FCI is released there should be plenty of Trinity & Pro  Design's for sale... mabe even cheap

NaturalRaptor

TQS is already accepting payment for the FCI and stated they might ship at the end of the week or beginning of next. He also stated on the forum that due to requests for a Protech Lid he was going to see if he could get one made for the new FCI box!
