I always ask " How may I direct your call" so people don't puke on the phone with their problem.  I still have the occasional moron that has to give me a story, and I cut them off, "So, who do you need to speak to?"

It's almost mission impossile to answer a phone in here, so we rarely bother

i just usually ignore the phones at both jobs. they dont pay me to answer them. plus i wouldnt know how to help who ever it is with what they need

nope probably not. well it at 1job im the only employee there other than the boss. so i get employee of the month all the time.
