+1

I would really like to hear what people have to say about this...I'm still on the fence.

Mine seemed to give it a more snappy throttle response. Power seems smoother all the way through the rpm range. I also don't notice it falling on it's face up top anymore. I'm not sure it was worth the cost, but I'm glad I have it.

So you would say it was worth the price?

I guess that depends on how big your pocket book is

The difference is not huge. But if I had to build another raptor for some reason, I'd buy it again.

Fair enough..

I had some extra cash lyin around when I bought mine. I've yet to put it on, and was wondering if it was worth it.. I had heard so many mixed reviews..

did you have a custom map made or are you running the built in curve 2?

I'm all for blowing way too much money on my quad.....look at it right now.  But I just didn't want to buy something that really didn't do anything.

Thanks for the info, you've helped a lot.

I'm waiting for the FCI intake to be released so I can get a custom ignition map made during the same dyno trip.  If it helps top end then its worth it to me.  It eliminates the speed sensor, launch feature should be great also.  I only paid $240 for mine

From my readings about it, there is a nice maintaining of HP in higher RPMs.  I believe the key to be adjusting your map to support the  ignition curve adjustment up high.  Without the addition of fuel in the higher rpms and upper throttle positions the ignition advance won't be to noticeable.

I got a map from someone on the "other forum" that had my exact mods and lives close to me, so the elevation was right. He had the dynatek ignition installed on curve 2 when he had the dyno performed. He tried the other curves and had best results with curve 2.

Hey wobble, any chance you might share that map (with permission of the owner)?  I would agree with what has been posted so far, it's a building block for other pieces.  The addition of the Dynatek, +2 TB and HC2 is very impressive, especially when you consider that you don't even break a gasket for these mods.  If I hadn't already bought a piston and an extra head, I might really have stopped at the 6-mod level, well for a little while anyway.

Let me check with the guy I got it from. If he doesn't care, I have no problem sharing it. It runs very well for me.

You have Email. Hope the map works for ya.
