Just wanted to know from the bigger guys that have over boots riding pants how is the fit. I am a bigger guy, 6'1" about 240lb. in between a size 40 and 42. Looking for something kinda loose on the legs!!  Not many places here carry a assortment of gear, most have to order so its hard to go somewhere and try them on.

I have three sets, Fox, Moose, and shift. for the money the shift have been the best followed by the fox. I'm 5-11 and 225. The waste runs big on all the static pants that I have worn so far. The only one that does not fit that way is the Thor pants they seem to be right on the measurements+a little long. I have been wearing the 36 to 38's and they fit great. Look at the fit scale on Dennis Kirk it is pretty accurate.

Just something to think about... I have a pair of over the boot pants and get told all the time to tuck the legs in because they like to burn on the pipe and leave nasty marks  ::).

My Fox set has (faux) leather on the inside of the knees.  I haven't had a problem yet!

I guess I am going to have to buy one of each!!

Good topic.

For blue jeans I wear a 32 waist x 36 length. I have wanted over the boot riding pants but have not found anthing that fits. Anybody this size? What would you recommend?  ???
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I'd go with the Thor. My buddy is 34-38 and his seem to fit good. Thor I think fits the skinny people a little better.

I wear 32/34 x 34 and the Fox Shortcut pant size 34 work well for me.  It is pretty long...  Long enough that it still gives great coverage over my boots even when sitting down.

Thanks for the info fellas!

I wore a 31x36 when I graduated the 8th grade. I guess you are going to be a little tubby in 15 years.

I have a set of MSR's they are holding up well, but have burn holes on the leg

Other than that they are good  :)

I wear 34x36 jeans and the shift squadron pants have velcro side straps that tighten the waist. They also have leather on the lower leg(old style didnt) so you don't toast them. And both lower legs unzips so you also have shorts.
