hey guys havent been on in some time. i got a question though, i have a 660 and so far ive only got to like 105km/h (thats like 65mph) and didnt if thats like a usual top speed? mayb its less cuz im like 215lbs.  also i got a friend with a 400 arctic cat sport quad and he says he can do 120, id be ashamed if i lost. so is there any way i can get more power/speed for cheap? thanks


also my reverse knob is loose and very tricky to get it to work, does anyone no how to fix it?

um that raptor should be doing like 70 
sometimes it varies but check out some of the stuff like your air filter and make sure its cleaned out real good
and im not positive but i believe that articat 400 is a suzuki engine but i am definitely not sure

105 - 110 km is about it for a stock rappy
plenty more to be had
pipe/filter/jets will gain you heaps, & there are some good value options out there.
I got a complete CT Sonic kit from Worldwide Performance

The CT pipe is good, cos if you have to hush things up a bit, you just take a few disks off the back of the pipe.
Very little loss in performance, but significantly quieter when needed

Loose knobs can be dangerous!
sugestions:
1/ just go forwards, its faster (more gears) & easier to control
2/ Check the mounting screws under the guard, to ensure that it is correctly mounted
3/ the knob pulls on a cable that actuates a lever low down on the left side of the gearbox
   Check the cable slides freely, & isn't too slack
4/ Check the lever that it pulls on to ensure it moves freely through out its range of motion

I think the arctic cat 400 has the same motor as the Suzi Z400
My wife has one & the rappy is 4-5k faster at full noise, but has better accelleration

gearing is also a pretty inexpensive thing too
if you put a smaller rear sprocket on you will gain top speed but you will also loose a little torque
what kind of racing will you be doing
and also what if anything have you done too your quad already
