Sounds bad ass. Post up pics of your progress and good luck!

One of these years I'm going to build a hunting jeep, I really like the TJ body the best!  But I can not believe some of the options that they are coming out with for the JK. EX - bolt in Dana 60 and Hemi 6.1 Liter! That is crazy, just a simple drop in.

That is bad ass.   Does it have electric or air lockers? How do you like them?  ???

its got the factory electric lockers. i havent had the chance to try them out. other than playing on a hill just up from our barn:lol: and it was a heck of alot funner climbing it in the jeep with the lockers than it was climbing it in my truck

Is it true that they only work in low range?  ???

That what I don't like. I been thinking of what I want to run in my play truck because I want it full locked in high range at full throttle. But it to unlock when putting around the house so I don't tear anything up. Probably looking at the Detroit lockers.  8)

If I were building a jeep today, I dont know what I would run, air, electric or cable lockers?  ???

I had ARB airlockers on my suburban and loved them.  Perfect road manners when needed, but still awesome bite in the nasty stuff when engaged

NaturalRaptor

The only problem I have seen with air is the lines get snagged and plugged loose. Other than that they good.

Haven't heard of Aussie yet! Googled them, they don't make anything yet for 1 tons.
