I hear you on that. I really think it will be a competitive race now. If He would have pick Romney I really don't think he had a chance.

Anybody else think she's hot?  I'd wreck that.

I would be all over her and McCains wife, nice cougars there.  Everyone had to laugh when the headlines said "McCain TAPS Palin for VP"

I'd get Cindy all hopped up on pain killers and go to town on that ass.  That would be a sweet milf-y threesome right there.

she seemed to me like she was parodying the whole thing
and that she was more serious about making mccain look good
than she was about hitting on some of our key problems
but my votes for mcain(if i had one) anyway
Obama's the anti christ  :help:

So I watched Mccains speech.   Just not diggin the guy...except for what appears to be a genuine desire to end over-partisan politics. I am all for that. And you know what I hate...When people constantly clap at political speeches.....for nothing. Let em talk! A$$hats!

State of the union address=10 minutes of speaking, 15 minutes of bull$hit applause! Like it is a new thing that we want to end the war, poverty and change the medicare system.  Make the candidates work for the $hit! STFU! :batman:

McCain is not the best public speaker I'll give you that one, he looks real stiff up there. I like him though. I really don't know if he'll be able to run for a second election because of his age. He kind of looks like walking death, but if I was a prisoner for as long as he was I think I might look the same or be already dead.

Those speeches are never worth a crap, and I choose not to watch the convention stuff. Both sides spend too much on pep rallies trying to sway voters by a speech they didn't write.

They say what the public wants to hear, written by some college educated moron that spent more on his education than I'll make in two years for a fancy piece of paper that says "I can write a speech." The speeches all say one thing, and the candidate will do something completely different.

Congressional Quarterly has reported that Sen. John McCain has voted with President Bush 90 percent of the time, while Sen. Barack Obama has voted with Bush 40 percent of the time.

I have a great amount of respect for the man that piloted A-4 Skyhawks over Vietnam (another bullshit war we shouldn't have been involved in), and spent nearly a decade in a prison camp with severe injuries. McCain is by far the closest Republican I could vote for. Where he is loosing me: His choice of VP, his tax plan, ending the war and bringing our troops home in the next year to year and a half (huge spending issue), and his failure to convince me he's not like every other Republican.....A President that seems to always help the rich, and skips over the majority of America, lower class and middle class.

I don't know about all of you, but I can't afford another eight years of a Republican like Bush. Bush in my opinion has had one good year, his first year. The rest have really sucked due to a bullshit war, emense spending, his administrations foreign policy, and his administration's blind eye to the nations economy. Everyone always blames it on a "Democratic controlled Congress". Democrats didn't take control of Congress/House until January 2007, and with a Democratic President, I think we as a country can move forward to tackle issues important at home.

That would be disasterous.

That's what we were talking about @ work yesterday.

McCain looks like he's on his last breath each time I see him take the podium. A vote for McCain REALLY needs to think about the possibility of him dieing while in office. Is Palin ready to be president?

I personally do not believe she is qualified for VP let alone President.
Just because someone can make a good debate and speech does NOT make the prepared to lead a country.
