actually that was lap 3 of a lap 4 session. after 3 laps it layed down a time better then the zr1 despite the zr1 making quite a few laps before getting its best time. obviously, the vipers gear ratios are not meant for the ring.

2009 is a rumor, but its not set in stone. and the viper line up is for sale, so it could go to another company.

It's not rumor.

The Viper models and name is on the market. Dodge is trying to sell the model, trying to cut costs. This straight out of our reps mouth that was here yesterday.

the viper is a joke, why dont they go ahead and spend some of the money they make over charging for that car and re-design it.  they've been making that car for like 15years on the same chassis with the same motor, and same tranny.  they just make little changes here and there and change a couple body panels and put some new wheels on it.  just my opinion of the car, dont get me wrong the car is f*ckn nasty and i would love to own one but when its compared to a vette i would go with 07 Z06 and use all the extra cash on after market parts, EX. twin turbo, haha. vette lover for life.

THE NEW VIPERS ARE ALOT NICER THAN THE OLDER ONES. BUT STILL THERE NO WAY I WOULD TRADE A NEWER BONE STOCK Z06 FOR A VIPER EVEN WITH SOME WORK DONE TO IT. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A VETTE FAN AND ALWAYS WILL BE

RK + Viper with a phone book under the pedle = Curb check.

Funny.

Just a little 81hp trail bike.

Viper isn't comfortable. I've had the honor of driving/riding in several high performance cars and the Viper is one I didn't fit too well in. Would I own one? Sure. I'd own a Lambo too even though they are uncomfortable as hell.

That's one of the reason you don't see many with a lot of miles on one. Not comfortable over distances.

RK, when your dad gets his, you're a pretty good size guy, see how long you can go without getting stiff in the car.
