Thats funny you posted up this thread.  I've been that way the last few weeks.  But I want a sail boat, its just what I love.  But I don't want to buy anything right now since my wife and I are so homesick.  I don't want to have to deal with moving a boat too.

sail boats are great fun. trust me i was on one for 2 weeks lol. i never really liked sailing, but after the course, i enjoyed it and think it would be awsome if my dad got one

I have grown up on the Misouri river and every year been down to the local boat drags. If you would rather sail than motor up twin 502, I guess thats your cup of tea :fruity: Ever been to party cove at lake of the ozarks? I did'nt see to many girls flashing the sail boat...LOL

Its almost funny, you really have no idea.  I've seen more tail at the volvo ocean race party then I ever have out at havasu.  Here is a vid that my friend posted awhile ago that I'm in.  Karma if you can find me.

I'm not knocking power boats, I do plan on having one too.  But I love to get out and relax on a sail boat for the weekend.

Ah, Baja's. Thats the Omaha status symbol. You aint shit till your floating in a Baja.

On the river here boating can be quite relaxing. We motor up to souix city and float back. It takes a FULL day, and about a case and a half of beer per person. I can't honestly thing of a better way to spend a saturday! I've got some pretty crazy pictures of last year.

When we were in Chicago for Lalapalooza last year, there was a HUGE boat party going on about 1 mile away from navy pier. about 75-100 boats all tied together. chicks, booze, and music.... there were titties flyin :grin_nod:
