Al least not since I got some mine back from Bo. :P

Russ understands, at least I still get to show my wife the rare Coloradoan humping monkey from time to time.

Do they replace the guides on the intake side? Or does the Cnc just cut them down that far....

It looks like the exhaust side got new bronze guides correct?

And is the combustion chamber untouched?

Troy

I'm not sure if they replaced them or just ground them down.  As far as the combustion chamber goes, it's not smooth but it seems like they may have blasted it or something.  I think it's smoother now than when I sent it off.

VelociRaptor

Looks like they are ground flat. Couldnt do that on the exhaust side with the roof of the port that high, the guide would last just past startup if they didnt change em out lol. Looks great!

Just a little 81hp trail bike.

VelociRaptor

I do things as low cost as possible, I replace the guides when they are worn. I dont do all out porting, I could but its not for my part of the market share.

That head should flow good numbers, It seems opened up a lot especially the down deep in the head where the valve seats are.  I wonder what the actual flow #'s are compared to the guys that do the best hand port jobs?

This Forum Rocks !

Troy

I know it flowed over 350 cfms   That's 110+ cfms over stock, so it should do really well.

VelociRaptor

Depending on the flow bench on the stock #s, Ive seen 2 different benchs show the stock head at 260ish cfm.
Awesome flow #s none the less
