I just got back from the airport and ran into a unique visitor.....

Chinese Nanchang Yak-18! Tail number N99YK

These guys are based in Fort Worth, TX. They made a fuel stop on their way back from Oshkosh!

Notice the puddle under the nose gear in the first picture. That's oil....old birds like to leak a little, and this one was leaking like crazy!

They have just departed, and you can see the flight here: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N99YK

YAK's, sweet! I have seen those fly before.

no raptor riding today, but me and the boy took the Prairie on a good old fashioned redneck ride. Creek riding.
It was a good time. Rode with two grizzly's and a king quad. The lil' 360 handled 3ft of water just as well if not better than them. :P
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"

Sounds like fun here.

It's just way too hot to attempt to ride here.

Mornin guys.   Thanks for the pm's, all is fine here.   If you didn't hear, the rampage that ended in a tripple murder of 3 local teens while swimming in a group of 9 kids happened 1/4 mile from my house and has the whole community shocked and in mourning.   It was truly an interesting night Thursday.  read the story at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080801/ap_on_re_us/wisconsin_shooting
