Well, considering you were running with some healthy builds from the area that have been tuned at altitude I think it did damn good

Technical question for you guys with motor builds.  When you go to walden, does your cooling fan run allot?

Mine was on more than usual, but I had my old lady on the back or I was drag racing.

I never got over 210. The 450's that I ride with, there fans never run.

My fan usually doesn't run that often, and I'm usually drag racing or hill climbing all the time.  It's definitely off and on.  It could be worse, on a Predator if you even mention the word hot, the fan comes on.

I'm pretty sure I'm out of the loop for at least a couple of weeks by the time I get a crank replaced.  We'll see, maybe I can get lucky and get it back together.

True that. Predators fans are always running, but that is because they are set to turn on 20 degrees sooner.

That would make sense then, we have quite a few guys running them and it seems like if they run for a minute the fan is on.  It only gets annoying when they shut them off.

The reason I ask is becuase I'm thinking of uping my thermostat to a higher temp to improve overall efficency
