what are some good cheap wheels? i looked at several itp and douglas that were cheap and looked to be well made

Krandall

The cheapest "well-made" wheels will be from Douglas (I recently priced some out).
otherwise your best bet may be finding a stock set of rims.

I like playing it safe with rims especially on the trails .190 for me

PS the stockers are pretty strong, so if you can find some used ones cheap, snag them.

i like the holeshot hd's.....they take tons of abuse and haven't punctured one yet....
sold the raptor....full on 05 yfz in progress...

stock parts: fuel tank, swingarm and rear shock

darkside94

how do the hd's perform in dirt.
The grammatically challenged's punching bag.

Krandall

My bro has HD's on his new 400ex. to me.. my honest opinion. in dirt they are awesome. But they to me are just "general" tires. Made to last a long time and have less than par-mediocre traction. The XCR's are a little bit softer compound which will wear out faster not sure what kind of timeline. But the grip they have is 2nd to none.

so krandall what would you recommend the kendals or itp hd. i am thinking kendals because of the lower price
The grammatically challenged's punching bag.

Colorado700R

My $.02 would be for the Kenda's, the ITP HS HD's are almost the same $$$ as the ITP GNCCs  ::)

darkside94

yep i think we once again came back to the same conclusion. i think im going to stick with kendals. also aaron could you answer my question under this
The grammatically challenged's punching bag.

FoundArealQuad

I would agree. The traction the Knarly's have is almost the same as the HD's and GNCC and are about $30 a tire cheaper. They are all heavy tires
DMC Force 4s, PCIII, Mod Quad Intake, Flexx Bars, Alba Nerfs with Pro Pegs, Rox +2 adjustable risers, CCP, EHS airbox cover

Peelz

another two cents. I have the Kenda Klaw XCR. Cheap, but I haven't had a problem with traction. They are wearing very well, considering we have been blasting down gravel roads alot. I am just a novice though.
Krandall: "peelz. I'll be real with you. As much as I hate on you for soccer, I really don't mind it"
