FLAGS!
« on: April 22, 2010, 01:18:08 AM »
One thing I never hear mentioned on here is steering flags.

Im learning about them now and how they are adjustable and resist bump steer while allowing a steeping turning angle. Since it seems like one of those "simple" mods you can do for handling I wanted to post up some links just to get the info out there.

http://www.walshracecraft.com/#/700r/4532447527 - Look near the bottom

http://www.houser-racing.com/ProductDetail.jsp?LISTID=41E0000-1103223846 - non-adjustable, **it is too tall to be used with the stock steering stem**

Just wanted to get the info out there for you trail and MX guys/gals

We just grind down the stops on the OEM pittman arm, but I'm sure there are benefits to the tie rod relocation as well.

The thing about grinding is that its not exact and once its done, thats it...hope you like your adjustment.

I got wind of that on Quadzone.com, I havent checked to see if its adjustable yet

Non-adjustable.....If the stem im getting doesnt have it installed then ill run it by Kev. I was actually wondering about this when I was installing the stabilizer, but I thought against messing with the stock flag
