Jetting

Well I couldnt help but want to play around with my jets some more.  So I ordered up a few sizes larger than a 155.  I started with the largest I got and she wouldnt even start on it, which was kinda expected. Largest I ordered was a 170.  She first fired up on a 162.5, but would backfire like hell when you would hit the gas.  I stepped it down to a 160 and it ran great.  Just wanted a little piece of mind to have her running a little rich, I know know, its probably overboard.

One thing i did notice while running the 155.  My mom actually took it out riding for a half hour and all she did was probably 25mph.  But the plug did have the nice chocolate color starting after that.  But once I took it out and ran her at about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle most of the time the porcelan whitened right back up.

Have you tried with running with the lid off yet?

Since I have done these mods I havent put the lid on.  With the mod Quad filter adapter I would have to trim some plastic on the lid just to get it to sit on correctly.
