I was wondering some opinions on if i could run my stock bore RE 14.1 Piston with a Barkers +6 Crank and not blow head gaskets? I wasnt sure if that would be to much compression or if i could run it like that. I do have a stud kit on the head and cylinder instead of using them stock bolts to hold it down. Let me know if i can run this piston with this crank and be fine or if i need to go down in compression so i dont have problems.

I'm not sure on the barker crank, but the Hot Rod crank adds about ~.7 to the final compression.

Funny you ask, but I just spoke with KBR (Awsome help BTW) about adding a crank to my big bore 14.1. On HIS bike he runs the HR +5 and a venom 14.25 727. He did say he is north of 15 on compression, but its holding up great!

troy is runninga +5 hotrods with a RE 14:1 piston i believe and he is having no issues, although his is a 105mm bore. I know he has spanked a 8?? cc quad that was built by a high end builder on here
