Soon, very soon.  I've been drooling over that every time I go into Lowes.  Just a ton of money going out right now getting ready for the baby, soon after that I'll work on that goal.

Not to sure about Kobalt. I am a Snap-on guy all the way. Damn near evey tool i have is Snap-on. I have a few Mac and Matco tools and like them also. I prob have around $20,000-$25,000 in Snap-on/Mac/Matco tools.
About the Snap-on truck, Any time i need anything i can call him and meet him some where close to me. If it is on the weekend i can just drive to his house.
I am wanting to buy a bigger box. Not to sure what one i want but i have been looking at this one.

and this one

What one do u guys think i should get?

Same price, same size, I personally like the second one.  Less drawers.  I think that will give you slightly greater storage space.  It just seems more efficient to me.

Wow, surprised they allow me to link these pics.

I don't wrench for a living so it would be stupid for me to put that much money into tools.  I'm just your average joe weekend warrior.

^^ That's where I'm at.  When I start breaking tools, I'll start buying the high dollar stuff.  So far I've been lucky.
mostly stock with a 12t sprocket of fury

Craftsman isn't perfect but the kit I have has lasted very good for the last 4 years. I very rarely break any sockets or wrenches (bolt breaker not wrench breaker.....usually) and I mostly lose the damn sockets first. I have broken extensions before in high torque situations but usually my own making by using long cheater bars. So it's my experience it will last as long as you treat them right and don't monkey on them too much. Otherwise if this wasn't a hobby I'd agree with the rest and buy a quality set like from snap on, but I'm nowhere near that kind of daily usage. Maybe one day.

picture #1 with the riser kit and top cabnet on it.  Is it bad that all the tools don't fit.

I would get the riser kit if i still worked at a shop. But i would still like to get it one day.

Thats the problem i have right now. I am damn near out of room for all my tools in the snap-on box i have now and for some weird reason tool just keep falling off the snap-on truck in to my box.
So i will prob get Box #1 for a x-mas gift to my self.

Also wanted to toss a few more things out there.

BIG RED - 1/2" breaker bars cant take a beating!

Knipex - Anything cutter related by these guys is great!

I would be skeptical of buying any Harbor Freight item for long term use.  IMHO, you can find nice rolling tool boxes on craigslist that will out last anything from HF for the same $$$ or less.

I've had a couple of of tools come from Harbor Freight and so far they're doing great! I'm about to buy the 10x12 greenhouse for my wife they have listed in the paper for 20percent off.

How often do you use those tools though? A few I've gotten have broken before, including their "impact" sockets.
