how did i lose?

my buddy wanted me to hope on his 700 and race this other 700 in packed sand/gravel.
the 700 i was riding had prodesign intake,monster duals,dynatek,pc3,hc2,100 octane,on hd holeshots.
the other guy had trinity stage 4 kit on it which only looked like it had just the big 3. he said he just bought it that way,the previous owner modded it.
we are equal weight and he still won all 3 races.1 race he won a max of 3 lengths and the other a min of 1 length.
i also watched him beat a yfz450 that has a fully built hc motor and another ltr450 with a pipe intake and cheery bomb.he even took out a honda450r track built bike.all in a roughly approx race of 800ft drag.
he aid he bought the 06 700r raptor for $2100 from elisabeth nj..

Traction??  What tires was the other guy running?  Air pressure?

And, if they're like any of the folks around here, you only got the mods list that guy wants you to know, but there is probably way more to it.

tires were the same hd holeshots. pressure was at 3.5. iknow i did a 2nd gear start and we let off mid way into 5th gear.
the guy said he didnt know what it had he let me look all i wanted.

You said the bike you were riding is running 100 octane on stock piston?

yup, it had a lil in it he said.i just jumped on it and ran it for him.i only use 93 in mine.i use the c16 for the turbo 700 though

you said he had a Trinity Stage 4 kit. Is that any port & polishing?
