well good news for me....

as some of you know the company i worked is shutting their doors june 1. but there was a new company coming in to buy out the department i work in, and i got the job as a TIG welder. 


well technically i havn't signed the paper work but i'm going to hand it in on monday. i'm taking a $5 pay cut in the base pay. but there is incentive pay that goes along with it. so hopfully it will balance out to about what i'm making now. from the sounds of the meeting we had today with the VP of the new company it will be a good deal. they plan on keeping us busy for a long time. and when orders start to drop off around here they will bring some of the work from Washington to us here in Illinois. benefits are about the same too.

and as long as nobody tries to take the vacation days out from under me before i can turn in my request form i will be going to the silver lake rally in june.
