I just got my +3 back form Kenny and it looks great.  I got it installed, reset the TPS and fired it up.  I have heat cycled it a few times to re torque the studs but can not get the idle to come down.

When I start it, the idle is fine (about 1400 rpm) until I touch the throttle, as soon as I touch it idle goes to 2500-2800 and does not seem to come down.  During heat cycleing it I think I have let it get warmed up enough for it to allow the idle to dro pback to normal.

I will know for sure when we go riding this weekend but I do not think it is coming back to normal.  I have checked all lines to make sure that there is not a vacuum leak anywhere.

I have seen a few others have the same issue so I would like to see if I can find out some steps to take if it does not come down.

I had the same problem you are having, first check you throttle cable tension...chances are that is your problem. for me the tension was misleading, I thought I set it as per the manual and that it had plenty of slack only to find out it was not enough. Aftyer you set you tension if your Idle is still on the high side, look at you TB where the cable connects, at the bottom you will see the hot idle adjustment...loosten the locknut and back off on the adjustment untill you get it set, you may have to hold the screw while you tighten the locknut so the setting does'nt change....next to that you will see the cold idle screw, it is the one with the spring on it, it should be set at 5 1/8 turns out. hope this takes care of it for you.
