i need advice on a little problem with my barker header

i took my left side(while sitting on it) exhaust off to replace my exhaust gasket. well i found that my spring loop on the header had apparently come in to conntact with my chain at one point or another. because it is all smashed over. here are the pics of it:






i need to know if i should take it into work and build up the bad spot with the TIG welder or just leave it alone? i don't know how long it has been like this but the spring was still attached really well.

If you or someone else is good with a tig then I say go for it.....I would look in to why it happened in the first place though Suspension too soft?

You could call Tim and ask how much he would charge to repair it or swap it out for a new one. But you definitely need to find out what caused it.

it's no big deal for me to take it to work and fix it. i'm quite good with a TIG welder. i just wanted to know if i should worry about it or not. and i'm almost certain that the chain is what caused this.

i'm 99% sure that it was my chain from being to loose. and my suspension could probably use some adjusting as well.
