1 TB Hard drive wont work

I bought this 1 TB HD from western digital but i cant get it to work.  I can see it in my BIOS after I turned that SATA port on, but when I load vista nothing shows up.  Im thinkn this hard drive wont work with vista.  Can anyone help?

Its an internal hard drive.

If you see it in the BIOS then you computer recognizes it. If you right click it in explorer can you get properties on it?

i cant get it to show up at all in windows.  the only place i see it is in BIOS under the SATA Port

ok scratch the last thing i said, i found the hard drive in my device manager but it still doesnt come up in my computer.......

Thats what I get for assuming he formated it already

got it figured out. WD had the steps on their site.  it was kinda confusing but its all good now
