what do people think about the primary drive chains/sprocket that RMATV sells?
Don't know about them, D.I.D. is proven & I went with that for $85

To all the guys that gave me great input on my chain ? thank you. I ended up with a Renthal X ring with standard master link. I will give a report on the chain after I return from Baja.

I rode 700 miles with a new Renthal Z ring in Baja . 0 problems 1 adjustment. Used a clip type masterlink 0 problems. This was thru desert, mud , streams and pavement. Thanks for all your input every one.

I run the same chain, Renthal z ring, with no problems at all.  Mine came with two links, one clip type and one to rivet.  I have been using the clip type, don't really know what to do with the other one.

Why wouldn't someone run a clip style masterlink vs the rivet style? ???

i have been using a D.I.D. X-ring chain for a few weeks now. and i think it's great. i ordered a 100 link X-ring chain from RMATV for about $75. i had to cut off about 2 links i think it was. i would recommend the X-ring chain.
