ok so my rappy is leaking a small amount of oil from the lil line illustrated in the oil pump drawings #20 at the top seal,  i bought new gaskets for it and believe that this will fix the problem i am also going to do an oil and filter change at the same time,  is there any precautianery(sp)    things to look out for or is it as simple as it looks?    just loosen up bolt remove old gaskets and replace with new gaskets and tighten bolt back up.

thanks a lot in advance for the help!

zacharkins

come on guys!  help me out havent any of you had to change oil oil lines?    i wanna work on it tonight!

Peelz

shouldn't be too difficult, just was looking in my manual. "oil delivery pipe"

Has a nut, gasket, and copper washer. Try not putting all the oil in, just in case it is still leaking. Run for a little bit, not alot. If not leaking throw the rest in.

zacharkins

ya thats a good idea,    so you dont think i need any special grease or oil or anything on the copper washers?

Peelz

not that I am aware of, unles there is something wrong wioth the case or the connection. Which you will find out when you put it back on.

Just make sure all surfaces are clean when reinstalling everything and don't overtighten on the copper washer.

obviously like i said i changed them with no problems and my small leak is still there.   looks like its the top seal of the motor that has the small leak

im think im just gonna leave it til i find someone close by to help me who has more experience!          damn
