Here is a quick how to for those like me that will open the box and have no idea what to do.
At the same time I installed the FCI Intake, I also installed the Power Commander III and the Barker Dual Exhaust System.

I did not take any pictures of removing the old air box but its pretty straight forward.
Also when you remove the 2 bolts from the air and tail piece, the under tail will drop.

You will need a small filter breather for the tube that comes out of the case.

Here is the new intake tube compared to the stock.

Reuse the 90* adapter to connect the tube back onto the intake.

It is easier to connect this side first than the tube onto the 90* elbow.

From there connect the coupler on to the intake tube.
Make sure you do not drop or damage the air temperature sensor.  Also make sure when you connect the intake tube to the throttle body you run it under the grey wire harness that contains the wire and plug for the air temp sensor. This will give you just enough slack so that the temp sensor wire is not too tight.

From here bolt the air filter and intake tube bracket under the plastics.

Now bolt the under tail plastic brakets but do not yet tighten all the way.

The bolt closest to the air filter will have the nut and washer on the oustide.

Tighten both of the screws on the under tail plastic first then the 2 bolts that hold the brackets to the frame.

Put on the air filter and tighten the clamp.  Last put on the outwear supplied and all set.

Reinstall all plastics and cover and ride it!!!

Yes.  I fired it up and it ran smooth.  Throttle it a few times and did not stall or hesitate.

Looks pretty easy, trying to think of the rappy.... Is the filter even w/ out the air box completely open on the bottom or does the tail piece cover below? ???

Its actually open on the bottom, but it would not be too hard to get a piece of flexible plastic, heat it up and bend it to shape to at least close the bottom.  I will be doing that soon and will let you know how it comes out!!
