Ok so i was working on the Rappy and the Timing eye plug decided it wanted to snap off where could i get another? Preferably a more durable one! the stealership wants 13 bucks for the stock one but i do not want this to happen again so would spend more money on a better plug! Thanks again for your help guys! ~BLU~

i would say just get the stock one and make sure not to break it off again. is there a torque spec in the book for this plug? if not you could check the repair manual. if you don't have one i could check mine for you.

Its a bummer that it happend and the only reason i tried tightening it last night is because she was slowly leaking oil from there! So i figured maybe it was loose. I think the cast itself was defective and was cracked causing it to leak oil without the plug being loose. I will purchase the stock one monday unless someone else posts up a different one before then! Once again thanks alot guys. Also warren if you could give me the torque specs for that plug it would be much appreciated.

i broken my crank case filler plug from over tightening it. those cast aluminum plugs don't take much at all to break them. i will try to get you the torque spec by tomorrow.

+1 I would say go stock. I don't think there's any aftermarket replacements (at least from what I've seen) But. isn't there an o-ring on that. Any chance yours was cracked?
