go with the extended cab.  and that little bit of extra weight wont make a difference with a motor thats going to be pushing near 500hp.

I vote reg cab. Cheaper, easier to maintain, lower insurance. Less to break...it is a GM. Sorry, personal experience talking. :lol: Less people in the truck if he wrecks again.....

i would say ext. cab. for the reason you said. more room for subs and amps. and if you are in the market for a 12" sub and a 2000 watt amp. i have some stuff i could sell you.
