Save cash on an intake...

Instead of spending $117-145 for a Pro Design K&N Pro Flow ATV Air Filter Kit, save a few bucks and piece it. I did and it cost about $65(plus some shipping), saving at least $40. K&N filter was $32, adaptor was $16, & Outerwears was $17. Here's how...

Although this a great option, there is a difference between that intake design vs the prodesign, Texas intake, and trinity styles.  These major brands have a tapered inside to act like a venturi and add velocity to the larger air flow.  The balance of velocity and over all flow has been the reason these products have delivered consistent power IMO.


Great find though, and I'd be interested to hear how it performs for you

This is a tapered filter, exact size of the Pro Design. I searched around and found the K&N part number, to buy the filter seperately. I'll let you know how it perfroms, going out Thanksgiving.
