I purchased some G-Force extended hubs, but I'm having a hell of a time cracken the hub nut.  Is there a special tool I could use?  Man this thing is tight. :confused:

use a nice 5 ft breaker bar. Heat it up a little first. Use all the pressure you can. it will break loose im a puny 134 lbs and broke mine loose!

I put a wrench between the sprocket and housing just so the axle couldnt spin... And i had my dad use a regular sized breaker bar (1 1/2 maybe 2 feet) and it broke loose. hard as shit, but it came loose.

Bert

I used a 4-5' pipe with a breaker bar & it was tight  ::)

If you have access to a impact wrench it may help. but like everyone else said. I also used a 5' cheater bar on my 1/2" wratchet

I only had a 2' cheater bar but I beat the crap out of that with a sledge and that took care of it.

In Quad Magazine they offered this tip
Use the rear brake & parking brake, not the transmission to hold the axle from turning especially when using an impact.

Finally got that sob loose with regular ratchett & socket.  I had to stand on it and push like nobody's business, finally cracked loose.

I agree my dad held the rear brake down as I spun the nut it off. As I don't have a parking brake.

Impact Wrench or Breaker Bar... I prefer the impact wrench... :rofl:
