1) This is the bike before it goes into pieces:

)Next remove the grill:

)Once you removed the grill, remove the front plastics with a NO.10

)Then remove the tank:

)Then remove the gas line with a flat screw driver and pliers. Becareful you dont rip the gas line. Use the petcock as leverage for the screw driver

)Then take off the rubber guard over the carbs:

)Take off the air filter:

)Take off the Choke cable as well as the Throttle Cable

)Here are the carbs installed on the bike, take a good look and note where all the tubes and cables go so you know how to put them back. Remove all 4 allen screws holding the carbs in place:

)Remove the air tubes that lead from the carbs to the air box:

)Remove the air tube:

)Then remove the other air tube and wedge them back. This is how they look removed:

)Then finally, make sure all cables and tubes are loose and remove the carbs from the bike. Make sure you dont drop them:

If you are jetting your carbs, you do not need to remove them from the bike. You can leave the choke and throttle cable installed, but will have to work on top of your bike.

)Get a screwdriver that fits perfect and remove the 4 screws on the right bowl:

)This is how it looks removed:

)To remove the main jets, get a screwdriver that fits perfect. Also use a No.8 key to hold the chamber in place. Otherwise you will mess up the jets and will have to purchase new ones). Note the order that you take them off so that you can reinstall the new Main Jets. Every jet kit comes and every bike mod that you do will require you to put on different main jet sizes. Read the instructions that come with your jet kit:

)Here are the Pilot Jets. Sometimes when you rejet you will not need to remove these. However, when your riding without a lid or high flow exhaust, you will need to get bigger pilots too!!

)Then the left side:

)Here is what the jet pilot looks like just so you dont confuse them from the main jets. Most kits come with only main jets and not pilot jets:

)This is how the left side looks removed. Remove the main jets as you did in the right side. (Same goes for the jet pilot if your changing that too):

)Do all yourself a favor and when you take the screws off from the bottom of the bowls under the carbs, change all 8 of them with allen screws. Take one to your local store so they cam match the size and get 8 allen screws. They are much easier to remove and dont have the headache of stripping it.

)Once you have reinstalled all the screws, flip the carbs upside down and lets work on the springs and pins. Careful to hold the lid when you remove it otherwise it will pop off and you will lose something:

)Then use a needle nose pliers to remove the pins all together:

)When removing the plastic capping holding the pin down, there is another small spring so becareful you dont lose it and note the order it was removed. Every jet kit and every mod you have done to your bike will require a different clip setting. Follow the instructions but remember the order the clips were put on:

)Then do the left side as you did the right:

)Then put everything back together the way you took them off:

)Make sure you replace these three small screws with allen as well. This is the casing that connects the throttle cable to the carbs:

)Depending on your jet sizes, pilot sizes etc.... adjust the air mixture screws. To do this, flip the carb and turn them both until stopping. Do not tighten them hard. Then on each side, turn them out (anti-clockwise) 3 full turns:

From there you will have to adjust as per your bikes needs. Every rappy is different so dont get worried if it doesnt idle, backfires etc.... Its trial and error.

Let me know if anyone needs help.

Hope this post helped!!!!
