Changed my oil and tightened my oil plug snug as always.  Although still have a very slow drip.  What causes this?  My washer wore out maybe?

is it actually from one of the drains?  Mine drips from the skid plate for awhile after a change.  Otherwise, you are supposed to change the crush washer every time you change the oil, so maybe that's the issue.

It's from the oil plug.  I bet it's from not changing the crush washer.  Wonder if I can get the same washer at Home Depot rather than going into the dealer?

Sandeater

I change the crush washer every 3-5 changes.  They are like 50 cents from the dealer.

Does it burn when you pee?

Nothing a little penicillin won't fix.

Just kidding.

Like the other's have said, change the washer....It's less than $2.

you stole my post idea! +1 change the washer, and worst case get a new drain plug. Total cost less than 5 bucks!

I just picked up a hand full of the crush washers at the dealer for less than a buck each. I change it everytime.

you shouldn't flip that whsher when you do your oil change, if you did, the chances are that it won't seal again.

easy fix is to super heat it with a torch, thn rapidly cool it in water/oil.
this should soften it up. my 2cents

More than likely easier to get a new washer.
