This last weekend at Hauser I saw a Raptor with Kenda tires, but the paddles said Hauler on them? Did Kenda buy the right to use Skat Trac paddles? They were 22, 4ply tires, so probably heavy, but was still curious what the deal was with these tires.   ???

Skat Trak doesn't actually manufacture tires. They buy them from other manufacturers, then abrade or scarify them and attach paddles to them.

If you get Bead to Bead or Ultralight paddles from them, the sidewalls are buffed as well, which erases the original manufacturers markings.

They buy tires from several manufacturers, depending on the size and what not. And sometimes they change suppliers, so you could get two sets of tires the same size but with different shells.
