Speedometer info

Does anyone here ride with a speedometer? My buddies girlfriend wants to get him one that works (his fucked up a while ago) for trails for his birthday.

She was told the Vapor ones break in cold, so her 2 options are Acewell and Koso.

Anyone have any good/bads about these two companies?
