Where should I put it?

The tube from the top of my coolant reservoir was in my fan, so I pulled it out but don't know where to put it

It should fold back up and under the gas tank but on top of the heat shield.   It should spew excess into the top part of the heat shield as there is a little drainage pan in there.  It drains through that bigger tube that is attached to the bottom of the heat shield that runs down the bike and gets rid of the fluid.

Are you talking about the actual top of the radiator or the one on the bottom of the resivoir bottle?

Just thought about something...  The throttle cable goes through there also..hmmm  One of those two goes in that holder and the other just free balls it in there.. LOL!!   I'm not near my bike so can't verify right now.
